Le Valet de Coeurs (The Knave of Hearts) Overture

Le Valet de Coeurs (The Knave of Hearts) is a composition written in an ABA Overture style for young level musicians. The slow opening introduction (in 4/4 meter) is transformed into a bright fast paced (2/4 meter) section. The B section is more lyrical and in 3/4 meter. A bridge section brings back the A section as before and the piece concludes with a brief coda.
