Residential Mortgage Lending is a comparative treatment of the residential mortgage origination laws of all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico. It is published by Thomson/West and is updated three times annually. The topics covered range from advertising residential home loans, to permissible loan fees, interest rates, licensing of mortgage lenders, loan brokerage rules, servicing practices, foreclosure practices, and rules for property insurance. The title includes leading cases from each of the 50 states, the names and addresses of the state mortgage regulators, and formal and informal state banking department guidance, including rules and regulations. Each chapter includes appendix material such as licensing forms, attorney general opinions, and banking department bulletings. The title is organized into 6 regional volumes; the material is available online through Westlaw (www.westlaw.com). The book has been published continuously since 1990. Co-authors are Mary M.
