Shashibiya yan li de Lin Daiyu

Through comparing Cao Xueqin's original manuscript of Hong Lou Meng with translations done by the western writers into their own languages, the author tells what are good translations and what are way off, and how the best translation is often not literal, but rather the meanings which the characters in the novel would express at the time and circumstance.
