Description
Although Squire Ove is attracted to the elf maiden, Hilda, he is engaged to Birthe, the changeling daughter of Sir Mogens and Fru Kirstine. Hilda, the true daughter of Sir Mogens, flees captivity in the troll cave as Birthe discovers a kindred spirit in a gold forging troll. Squire Ove and Hilda are married and the village celebrates with them.
