Description
A retelling of two Greek myths. In the story of Persephone and the pomegranate seeds, Demeter refuses to allow spring to appear until she has been reunited with her daughter Persephone, who has been abducted to the Underworld by Hades. The second story tells of a lovely, fleet-footed maiden who married Hippomenes as his reward for defeating her in a race.
