Description
Sutures is about navigating the intersections of interracial and multi-national identity through the stories of its 24-year-old Lebanese-Australian author. Amanda writes about her British father and Lebanese-Syrian mother's experiences in Lebanon, learning about the war and politics behind otherwise positive childhood memories, and her experience of being in between worlds. Amanda is also the author of Ampersand After Ampersand and keeps a blog at http://tinypaperhearts.wordpress.com. The zine has a numbered run of 250 copies, and includes illustrations, a glossary, and a list of resources.
