As Jayfeather tackles his new responsibilities as the new sole medicine cat of ThunderClan, Lionblaze works on training his apprentice, Dovepaw, and tries to control his feelings for the gray-furred ThunderClan warrior, Cinderheart. Dovepaw continues to learn to control her powers, and to use them for the good of her beloved Clan.
