This is the first book, in a two book series, the second book being titled, 'Pokemon Trading Card Game: Fossil Expansion: Player's Guide", ISBN: 188436439X. It is a guide to collecting, trading and playing the card came 'Pokemon: Trading Card Game". It also has information about the original set, 'Jungle', and 'Fossil' Expansion sets, and the Japanese cards. There is also a guide to the Nintendo 64 game "Pokemon Snap", and a mention of the Blockbuster Video printing machine {Pokemon Station}. According to the title page, and back side cover, this book is written by three authors, however Mark Elies, isn't listed on the front cover, which was illustrated is by Vanessa Adams, this is mentioned in the second book, but not in this book. It originally cost $12.95.
