Description
Carl Naether was a college English professor who had a passion for pigeons for over 40 years. In 1939 he wrote "The Book of the Pigeon" as "an informal and informative chronicle of my experience with pigeons." The book covers pigeon housing, breeding and feeding as well as discussing the different breeds and if they are better for short or long distance flying. In subsequent printings Carl would expand on certain subjects based on feedback from the readers.
