GUNBOAT 658

This book was written by a young Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve Officer who lived with the boat for its duration of the war effort. He was a nineteen year old midshipman when in 1943 he joined 658 and finally her commanding officer as she was paid off in 1945. An informative read as to what happened among the Coastal Forces boat and what endurance, stealth and resolve these men robbed of their youth had to provide.
