The fear dealers

A five-hundred-thousand-ton ship is scheduled to pass within five miles of a sister ship, and when neither reports seeing the other it becomes apparent that something is wrong--turns out that explosive charges have turned one of the ships into a floating time bomb which has been diverted to Nagasaki, and which threatens to do more damage to the city than the atom bomb.
