Biography of Rev. Jacob Smith Kessler, of the Church of the United brethren in Christ

Biography which was taken from Reverend Kessler's autobiography by Reverend Isiah L. Kephart. Reverend Kessler was from eastern Pennsylvania. He worked as a minister in Chambersburg, Philadelphia and Lancaster. This book includes the church's opposition to slavery before the Civil War.
